Support Services to Gas Industry Onsite Fuel Cell Users Group. Annual Report July 1985-June 1986

The 40-kW phosphoric acid onsite fuel cell has been developed to a point of technical excellence. Its operation has been successfully studied in a 4-year, international field test program. A 200-kW fuel cell power plant is under development. A market assessment has been done. To support the Gas Industry Onsite Fuel Cell Users Group to convey development status, and technical and applications information to an internal and an external audience, MAI provided services in three task areas: (1) Coordination of production of the Powercel News newsletter; (2) Attendance at, reporting on, and coordinating arrangements for fuel-cell-related workshops and meetings; (3) Performance of special studies. Each task area will be reported on herein.
