摘要

The Interim Scientific Report reviews the current status of a collaborative study of the Chinese National Center for Preventive Medicine and Cornell University on associations among diet, nutrition, and cancer mortality in the People's Republic of China. It was prepared in response to a request of the Food and Drug Administration for information on aspects of diet, nutrition, and health that are of interest to the Agency. The report provides information and data on the organization, conduct, and current status of the collaborative study. A supplement to the interim report, to be prepared after data analyses are completed and results of the collaborative study are available, will address specific questions asked by the Food and Drug Administration. The report contains a bibliography with 9 citations.
