Review of U.S. Competitiveness in Agricultural Trade: A Technical Memorandum

'Reviews the debate over the future competitiveness of U.S. agriculture--influences on world agricultural trade; trends in production, consumption, and trade of key commodities, including 'high-value products'; and the cost competitiveness of U.S. agriculture.' Special emphasis is placed on the relationship between technology and the U.S. cooperative agricultural position, and on technology transfer.
