Agriculture and the Water Quality Management Plan. A Midcourse Review of the Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control Component

摘要

The original Section 208 Water Quality Management Plan (WQM) recommendations for soil erosion and sediment control have been reviewed and compared with current efforts to control agricultural related nonpoint source pollution in Illinois. To continue the use of the WQM Plan as a tool in reducing nonpoint source pollution, some sections within it will need to be strengthened.
