Comparison of Transmitter Location Systems (Vergelijking van Plaatsbepalingssystemen voor Radiozenders)

Various techniques to locate communication transmitters are compared. The principles of operation of Adcock, interferometer and Doppler direction finders as well as those of arrival time measuring stations are highlighted. Their performance in view of location accuracy is compared. Each system has its specific possibilities and restrictions. However, the performance of the mentioned systems appears to be very much alike under practical circumstances.
