Manufacturer Submission Procedures for Qualification Testing of Wetting Agents

The submission procedures booklet is specifically for use by a manufacturer that is submitting a wetting agent for evaluation as a fire chemical product. Outlined in detail are the procedural steps to be followed to have a wetting agent evaluated and tested for qualification. The present evaluation program is based on the performance requirements prescribed by the Forest Service specification 5100-305b, 'Wetting Agent'. The booklet also details performance requirements, the test procedures to be used for laboratory testing, and the procedure for the notification of acceptance of the qualifying wetting agents.
