National and International Surveillance of Influenza Viruses among Domestic and Wild Species of Animals

摘要

The overall objective of the program is to define the reservoirs of influenza viruses in lower animals and birds, to evaluate their role in the origin of pandemic influenza in humans and lower animals, and to utilize these viruses to understand the molecular basis of important biological factors such as host range and virulence. The annual report will include updated items given in the semi-annual report.
