Test Approach for the MP (Multi Processor) System

摘要

In the framework of the Multi Processor (MP) project, attention has been paid to testing and testability of the MP system. A high level description of a program, which can be used on every computer system for testing hardware by software, a so called test-monitor, has been formulated. Next to that the possibility of putting a Micro Control Unit (MCU) on every board of the MP system for hardware testing, has been researched. Also literature has been studied for frequently used memory test algorithms. These algorithms are compared for their fault coverage, speed and applicability.
