AV-CAI-Editor as a Personal Tool for Teachers

One module of the Modular CAI System Delft is a post-editor to adjust courseware directly on a PC according to the personal needs of the teacher and his students. In the paper is described how the post-editor has been provided with commands to support control of audiovisual devices such as VCR, videodisc player and touchscreen. It will be shown how the commands are used to edit or to add AV materials to CAI courseware. The editor can also be used to compose video teletext and audio sequences to be presented to the audience.
