The supplement to the workshop report consists of edited transcripts of the workshop's open discussions and abstracts of participants presentations, including figures and lists of pertinent references. Abstracts are grouped into the following categories: (1) experimental non-rock material fracture; (2) experimental rock fracture; (3) theoretical aspects of rock fracture; and (4) theory of fracture of non-rock materials.
