Cross-Cultural Psychological Assessment: Issues and Procedures for the Psychological Appraisal of Refugee Patients

The necessity of conducting psychological assessment of individuals from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds has increased considerably in recent years due, in part, to the increase in immigration of refugees from other countries. The report addresses some of the problems and issues involved in psychological assessment of refugee clients in mental health programs and surveys assessment procedures in current use.
