Diffraction of SH-Waves by a Finite Crack in a Layer Overlying a Half Space

The horizontally polarized shear waves traveling in an elastic layer overlying a half space are considered to be normally incident on a plane crack of finite extension. The diffracted waves are calculated using the integral transforms and modified Wiener-Hopf technique.
