Evaluation of the Cost Effectiveness of an Intensive Program of Prenatal Care

摘要

The study examined two groups of women in an attempt to determine whether an intensive program of prenatal care to prevent low birthweight offered significant outcome advantages over other, more standard prenatal care models and whether the effects of the intensive prenatal care programs are of significant magnitude to outweight the costs of the program.
