摘要

Based on the incremental complementary energy principle, a stress hybrid model is developed for the geometrically nonlinear analysis of plates and shells. According to the compatibility of both interior and boundary displacements for an element and the equilibrium of stresses at the interior of the element, the present paper utilizes an inconsistent model which satisfies partially the stress equilibrium equation, and establishes a three node, fifteen degree of freedom, triangular shallow shell element. Formulas are derived in the Updated Lagrangian coordinate system. Numerical examples demonstrate that the assumed stress hybrid model is very efficient.
