Analysis of Crack Propagation and Arrest with Moving Element Method

摘要

The moving element method is extended to the material containing an arrest plate. The propagating process of a running crack is analyzed with the method. Especially, the arresting process of a running crack under the constant load is first obtained when the crack arrives at the arrest plate.
