Risks of Medication Procedures in Hospitalized Children

The study was designed to generate a number of hypotheses concerning the hazards of medication procedures among infants cared for in neonatal intensive units (NICUs). By describing patterns of use of medication procedures and identifying hazards associated with such exposures, researchers seek to reduce the morbidity and mortality resulting from routine therapeutic practices in the NICU.
