Production Incentives in Philippine Agriculture: Effects of Trade and Exchange Rate Policies

The study investigates quantitatively the effects of trade and exchange rate policies on relative incentives in the Philippine economy, concentrating on the agricultural sector. Changes in effective exchange rates from 1950-80 indicate a persistent bias against agricultural exports.
