Pesticide Assessment Guidelines, Subdivision F, Position Document: Selection of a Maximum Tolerated Dose (MTD) in Oncogenicity Studies

In response to the need to improve scientific and regulatory decisions and to provide additional guidance for the investigators performing oncogenicity studies, this position statement is presented by the Toxicology Branch of the Hazard Evaluation Division in the Office of Pesticide Programs. The position statement reflects the scientific thoughts of only the Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP) and should not be construed to be guidance from any other Office within EPA.
