The authors report here preliminary measurements on the characteristics of the miniature PMN ceramic condensers as a temperature sensor. The condenser has dimensions of 6x4x2.5 cu mm. The capacitance decreases monotonously from 1400 nF at 250 K to 18 nF at 2 K. The relative temperature sensitivity (Delta C/Delta T)(1/C) is 3 percent to 0.5 percent in the temperature range from 250 K to 2K. The capacitance was uneffected by the magnetic field up to 5 T at 4.2 K.
