Proceedings of the California Forest Response Program Planning Conference Held at Pacific Grove, California on February 22-24, 1987

In February 1987 the California Air Resources Board and the Western Conifers Research Cooperative sponsored a conference to devise a 5-year research plan. The plan was designed to study forest response to atmospheric deposition in California. The document includes a series of review papers on topics ranging from atmospheric monitoring in forested areas to synthesis and integration of forest effects data. The California Forest Response Program objectives and draft plan for field and laboratory research and monitoring in the Sierra Nevada are outlined in the report.
