Influences on Development and Innovation in Educational Technology

摘要

In the report, the authors: Provide a look at the history of educational technology, including both successful and unsuccessful government and private enterprise projects, during the past three decades; Examine trends in technological factors and new technologies that will influence development of innovative educational hardware and software during the next five years; Develop a set of policy options for strategic federal support that can maximize the gains of past development efforts, and can encourage the greatest benefits from future federal, state, and private initiatives.
