Results of the 1985 Cultural Resources Inventory at Angostura Reservoir, South Dakota. Part 1 and Part 2

The report describes a cultural resources inventory of Bureau of Reclamation property at Angostura Reservoir in the Southern Black Hills of South Dakota. About 4500 acres were surveyed. Sixty new sites were recorded, and 27 sites recorded by the River Basin Survey in the 1940s were relocated. The sites are described and recommendations are presented. Twenty-eight sites should be revisited or evaluated; another 18 should be tested for National Register eligibility.
