Evacuation and Survival from Offshore Drilling and Production Units in the Bering, Chukchi, and Beaufort Seas

Estimated levels of hydrocarbon exploration and development activity were prepared to provide guidance for the determination of evacuation, survival, and SAR requirements for the seasonally ice infested water opening to OCS development. An evaluation of current and proposed approaches to the evacuation of drilling and production units is performed and additional survival gear requirements are identified.
