Hazardous Waste: Tinker Air Force Base Is Making Progress in Cleaning Up Abandoned Sites

The report reviews the Department of Defense's efforts to dispose of hazardous waste at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, a major generator of hazardous waste. It examines the Air Force's actions to identify and clean up abandoned hazardous waste sites at Tinker and to correct problems we found relating to the generation, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste. The briefing report presents the results on actions taken on abandoned sites.
