Monitoring the accumulation of toxic substances in tissues of marine organisms is useful for assessing environmental impacts of specific wastewater discharges or evaluating water quality from a regional perspective. The appendices contain figures and tables used in selection of target species for bioaccumulation monitoring, evaluation of historical data sets for target species, and compilation of historical data on priority pollutant concentrations in recommended target and secondary species.
