NBS (National Bureau of Standards) Measurement Services: Dosimentry for High Dose Applications

The document describes calibration services available at the National Bureau of Standards for the standardization of high absorbed dose measurements of ionizing radiation. The areas of application of such measurements include medical product sterilization, electronic device radiation hardness testing and food processing. Detailed descriptions of the NBS dosimetry procedures and uncertainty assessments are given. Measurement assurance program techniques are discussed.
