Chemical Flame Retardation Mechanisms of Viscose-Polyester Fabrics

The report discusses flame retardant regenerated cellulose fibers, polyester fibers, and cellulose blends with polyester; pyrolysis, ignition and burning behavior of textiles; and flame retardation mechanisms on cellulose, polyethylene terephthalate, and blended fibers. It describes the systematic investigation of normal and 50/50 and 60/35 blends of vicose/polyethylene terephthalate to develop flame retardant products.
