The Computer-aided Acquisition and Logistic Support (CALS) program of the Department of Defense and industry is a program to enable and accelerate the use and integration of digital technical information for weapon system acquisition, design, manufacture, and support. The conference provided a review of the progress and goals of both DOD and industry, and provided presentations describing state-of-the-art technology and future expectations for CALS.
