摘要

The U.S. Department of Agricultures Conservation Effects Assessment Project (CEAP) has undertaken a series of studies designed to quantify the effects of conservation practices on cultivated cropland in the conterminous 48 States. The sixth study in this series is on the Arkansas-White-Red Basin. The basin covers about 248,000 square miles and extends from the Continental Divide through the Great Plains to the Lower Mississippi River Basin in Arkansas and Louisiana. It includes all of Oklahoma and parts of Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico, and Texas.
