In response to concerns from some community members regarding groundwater quality at and near the BoRit asbestos site (the site), the Pennsylvania Department of Health (PADOH) prepared this Health Consultation (HC) document. PADOHs primary goal is to evaluate whether a community is being exposed to levels of contaminants that may harm their health and make any necessary recommendations to prevent and mitigate exposures, as well as to ensure that the community has the best information possible to protect public health.
