Mobile Satellite Communications for Civil Aviation

摘要

There is a strong need for both voice and data communication of high quality without the line-of-sight propagation restriction or poor reliability. The only way to overcome the present limitations is the application of satellite communication. A satellite communication system architecture will be standardized in the near future. The foreseen satellite communication architecture for civil aviation will be discussed in the report.
