This personal computer system is based on the data collected in the 1983-85 Physician’ Practice Costs and Income Survey conducted by the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) for the Healed Care Financing Administration (HCFA0. This nationwide survey of 4,729 physician’s ineluded questions about practice costs, income financial arrangements Medicare/Medicaid participation, allocation of time and patient characteristics.
