Homesteading in the Depression: A Study of Two Short-Lived Homesteads in the Harquahala Valley, Arizona

Two depression-era homesteads were studied in the Harquahala Valley of Western Arizona. Architecture and material cultures were documented, and culture histories were derived from archaeological, archival, and informant data. Four research issues were addressed, three of them concerning the sensitivity of archaeological data to the behavioral systems that created them.
