Personnel to Serve the Aging in the Field of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance

摘要

The publication examines issues associated with personnel who serve the aging in the fields of health, physical education, recreation, and dance. Personnel in these fields are very diverse although they all have interest in helping people use leisure time well through the development of interests, hobbies, education, and participation. It will not be possible to describe in detail all of the occupational aspects of the fields, so recreation and physical education will be emphasized. However, dance teachers and health education personnel certainly can play a major part in the design and provision of services for middle aged and older adults.
