Private Business in Developing Countries: Improved Prospects

摘要

The paper discusses growth in world production and trade. Continued adjustment is suggested as a unifying theme for the private sector in different parts of the Third World. This will call for difficult financial as well as physical corporate restructuring. The adjustment also creates new private business opportunities and improved conditions for foreign direct investment.
