Small Tractor Skidding Attachments Rated for Private Woodlot Use

To help provide more timber from lands in the South by harvesting, many private landowners need some harvesting equipment guidelines. The primary objective of the study was to evaluate two skidding attachments for small tractors that can move felled timber within forests to loading areas. The equations derived from the study show expected production and costs for each of these attachments while being used with a Kubota L295DT tractor.
