Epidemiologic Survey of Oral Health in Adults

The report is a summary of the survey operations and data collection experience on the Epidemiologic Survey of Oral Health in Adults. The study involved the collection of oral health data (caries, periodontal/gingival disease) and sociodemographic data by means of a dental examination and questionnaire. The study population was all employed adults in the U.S. and senior citizens using comprehensive Senior Citizen Centers. Data were collected on 22,000 subjects.
