The report documents and prioritizes natural gas metering research needs and benefits as determined from a natural gas industry survey questionnaire, site reviews at existing research facilities, literature reviews, and extensive discussions with metering personnel. It establishes requirements for a metering research facility and associated research and industry interface committees to maintain a strong industry component to the program.
