Gap Filling PM10 Emission Factors for Selected Open Area Dust Sources

The report presents PM10 (Particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter of less than or equal to 10 micrometers) emission factors for open area dust sources not currently addressed in AP-42. These emission factors were developed mainly through indirect estimation techniques, such as drawing upon existing emission factors from similar sources, or upon engineering judgment. These gap filling factors provide a basis for completing PM10 emission inventories until more directly supportable factors can be developed.
