The fact sheet, concerns federal travel regulations that limit the travel advances federal employees receive in connection with official travel. According to General Services Administration (GSA) and Department of the Treasury officials, limitations on employees' travel advances were imposed to help reduce the governmentwide total of travel advances outstanding, thereby resulting in savings to the government.
