摘要

A typical HTPB-based linear, which has been used several years in case-bonded solid rocket motors and which has excellent adhesion properties to HTPB propellants and to steel, has been studied with respect to adhesion to some modern case materials. These case materials are: an aluminium alloy, an epoxy resin, an epoxy-polyetersulphone material and materials based on the promising thermosets PEEK, PPS and PAI. Excellent results have been obtained for all the case materials. The following surface treatments are recommended: for aluminium blasting and treatment with the isocyanate primer Desmodur R, for the epoxy materials light grinding and for the other materials light grinding and treatment with Desmodur R.
