The Administrator's Manual is designed to describe the installation and maintenance of D.A.'s Assistant. The manual also addresses system backups, and hardware, software and disk space requirements. The system administrator is responsible for installing the D.A.'s Assistant, maintaining the system, troubleshooting user problems and performing system backups. To perform these functions, the system administrator should have a working knowledge of the DataFlex application development database and of the operating system. If D.A.'s Assistant is to be installed on a network or multiuser system, the administrator also must be familiar with the network and system. The Technical Specifications give a functional description of D.A.'s Assistant from the perspective of the programmer. The manual includes a file relationship diagram, file layouts, program calling sequences and program descriptions. The purpose of the Test Plan is to provide agencies with a plan for testing the system and reporting the results. The Test Plan contains a list of the functions to be tested, a list of audit trail messages, an operator problem log, a programmer problem log, a system administrator checklist and an evaluation survey.
