The report presents a record as of September 30, 1989, of the status of foreign assistance related agreements of contractual indebtedness to the United States Government. The data on such foreign assistance related indebtedness to the United States Government includes accounts receivable from foreigners, as well as active short-term and long-term loans and credits to foreigners. The report does not include international claim settlements by the United States Government payable to American nationals (except for such claims included in the statistics on the German World War I indebtedness).
