摘要

In this paper the author presents confidence intervals and tests of hypothesis for coded wire tag (CWT) contribution estimates. He discusses both nonreplicated and replicated experiments. The results presented in this paper were developed assuming the binomial-hypergeometric compound distribution model. This model supposes that the number of tagged fish caught in a fishery follows the binomial distribution and that the number of tagged fish sampled from a fishery follows the hypergeometric distribution.
