The PIA Program is an interactive program written for the IBM PC and compatibles. It produces the Social Security primary insurance amount (PIA) for an old-age, survivor, or disability benefit, given the characteristics of a particular worker. It also produces the maximum family benefit (MFB) and, for old-age and survivor cases, the actuarial reduction or increment factor and monthly benefit amount (MBA) in single-benefit cases.
