Employer Liability in Managed Care Settings

The report examines the risk of liability to employers as a result of cost management strategies employed to hold down costs of employee health plans. Included in the report is an analysis of common tort law of corporate negligence, employer liability under the Employment Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) and ways to protect employers from liability.
