The Environmental Hazards Assessment Program of the California Department of Food and Agriculture conducted a study during 1980 to investigate reports of phenoxy damage to crops in Kern and Kings Counties. The herbicide 2,4-D was not detected in any of the 368 air samples collected during the study.
