The report documents a research and development program to investigate the applicability of digital electronic imaging (EI) and storage on digital optical WORM disks to the problem of document preservation. Volume III is a collection of appendices describing the image communications system used, a review of commercially available systems for electronic document storage and retrieval, and other supporting material.
