摘要

An extensive program was developed to measure pavement deflection skid resistance, and rideability throughout Oregon. The data from those 'objective' measures were then evaluated for correlations with observed pavement distress and traffic factors. It is concluded that 'Dynaflect' deflections and other 'objective' measures of pavement performance can best be used on the project level. The mechanized data gathering methods evaluated here have not proven valuable in network level pavement management.
