The Unit Price Standards (UPS) is a submodule of the Facilities Engineering Job Estimating (FEJE) Module. The UPS Submodule is an automated version of the Scoping Estimates procedure previously used. The UPS Submodule is designed to provide Planners and Estimators (P&E) and Facilities Inspectors with an improved capability to provide realistic, consistent, and timely estimates of the labor, material, and special equipment requirements, and costs involved in the maintenance and repair of real property. The three main sections in the UPS Submodule are: Job Directory; (UPS) Handbook; and Local Scoping Standards Handbook. Within this module, the user may scope an active directory, scope a history directory, view the UPS craft handbooks, and purge scoping active to history. If a job directory is chosen, the user may request the job directory list sorted in one of the following ways: by WP number sequence; all existing jobs for a particular building or facility; all existing jobs relating to a particular customer identification; all existing jobs according to a specified job creation date; or all existing jobs relating to a particular P&E.
